Elk Grove Village Kids Thanked For Their Community Service

May 16, 2013 by CCCEG

From feeding the hungry to slowing traffic to supporting diabetes research and taking care of four legged friends, Elk Grove Village’s council chambers were packed with more than 100 young people Tuesday night recognized for their community service projects.
Mayor Craig Johnson, village trustees and members of the Community Character Coalition (CCC) of Elk Grove took about an hour to honor and recognize 12 groups of young people for their civic efforts over the past year
