Elk Grove Village To Recognize Best, Brightest Youth

Some of Elk Grove Village’s best and brightest youth are expected to gather at Elk Grove Village Hall next week for the Community Character Coalition’s (CCC) Youth Recognition Day.

Eight groups of Elk Grove youth have been invited to village hall’s lower level conference room at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 to show displays of their service projects. Mayor Craig Johnson, village trustees and senior village staffers are expected to tour the displays, asking the kids involved to explain what they did to benefit the community.
